Working in the Quality Engineering Department my daily responsibilities include Control Plan creation, Change Order creation and creating and tracking the Supplier Scorecards and On-Time delivery. My responsibilities include the disposition of Material Review Reports through MRB, Supplier Audits, Internal Audits, updating procedures and communication with the supplier of non-conforming issues and supplier performance.

Working in the QA Inspection Lab my daily responsibilities included managing calibration, inspection priorities, supervising and training inspectors in the mechanical and visual inspection of medical implants devices, medical instruments, raw materials & packaging to verify conformance to purchase orders, product drawings and Control Plans.  My daily responsibilities included blueprint reading, GD&T and the use of Optical Comparators, manual and CNC CMM's, Nexiv vision system, calipers, digital and veneer micrometers, dial and digital indicators, plug and thread gages, pin gages, hardness tester, profilometer, air gaging, hard gage set up and gage blocks.  I was also responsible for supervising the final clean room inspections, sterile packaging inspections and internal and supplier first article inspections.

Working in the Decoy and Illumination Flares Quality Assurance Department.  I was responsible for quality zone audits of the production process.  Daily responsibilities included the identification and segregation of nonconforming product.  I was responsible for the inspection and verification of flare components to blueprints, specifications and initiating Discrepancy Reports as necessary.  Identification and communication of quality issues to Operations Management and Quality Engineering.   I was responsible for the occasional quality support of the Safe and Arm Test for the Minuteman program at the Bacchus Facility. My responsibilities included Configuration Audits of the Minuteman and Flares programs. I was responsible for building and entering data for the flares programs customer sell off packets.

Working in the Product Assurance Department in the Laboratory of the Western Zirconium plant.  I was responsible for the analysis of Zirconium samples taken from material used in the construction of nuclear fuel cells.  I have been trained and qualified in the daily operation of ICP-MS, ICP, DCP, Orion Ion Analyzer, Hydrogen, carbon and Oxygen / Nitrogen Determinators. I have been trained in the daily use of Hydrofluoric, Nitric, Hydrochloric and Acetic Acids and other chemicals and standards used to clean, dissolve and analyze metal, powder and sponge samples for analysis. Daily use of general laboratory equipment used to make standards and analyze production samples.

Working in the Customer Service Processing and Analysis area under the Supplier Quality Department.  I was responsible for the writing of detailed work instructions and supervising supplier sorting activities.  I was responsible for the communication with the Suppliers, Inspectors and Quality Engineers in the segregation, evaluation and disposition of nonconforming airbag components.  I was responsible for performing tear down analysis of live airbag inflators.  I was responsibly for the safe handling of hazardous and explosive materials used in the construction of airbag inflators.  I have been trained and certified to use the following equipment in my daily job responsibilities: lathes, forklift, drill press, presses, microscope, hardness tester, band saw, Leco saw, microfocus X ray machine, OES Spark Tester, drop gauges, micrometers and calipers.  I was responsible for the separation, weighing, labeling and packaging of explosive hazardous waste.

Working in the production test bays in the Quality department.  I was responsible for the destructive testing of airbag inflators.  Destructive testing is done to check for compliance to specifications.  Preparing of samples and analysis of welds for compliance to specifications.  Determine if the testing was acceptable and disposition, record and report data to the production lines and Quality Engineering.  I also have been trained and certified to use the following equipment in my daily job responsibilities:  Operation and use of Leco Cut Off Saws, polishers, Smart scope, Mig welder, F.T.I.R. gas analysis instrument and general test lab equipment, read and interpret blue prints, Bill of Materials and follow detailed work instructions.
